WeDid began in it’s current form in October 2022, however it has been years in the making. WeDid has in fact existed for 3 years as far as our Founder & CEO Matt Crawford sees it. The idea for Wedid was there, however the right time and opportunity was not.
The current iteration of WeDid was born out of Matt’s previous experiences within pharmaceutical auctions initially, then equipment brokerage itself. An ever increasing network of colleagues, partners and collaborators, the time was fast approaching to make WeDid a reality.
Drafting in father Bill and close friends Harry Law, Tom Kemp and Alex Doyle to help get things moving, the team is motivated and driven to make WeDid the best it can be, with everyone moving forward in the same direction.
Early stages were focused largely on what strategies and procedures we needed in place to achieve our goals. The importance of finding our own way to source equipment and find new clients could never be understated. Our first marketing campaigns brought forward new suppliers, manufacturers and potential clients, which led to more conversations and further engagement with our model.
The approach going forward is to be as open minded and as flexile as our clients need us to be. What is certain however is there are exciting times ahead for us and we’re just getting started.
